How to order our cakes

If you would like to order or enquire about any of our display weddings cakes please scroll down and fill out our Contact Form.

Ideally we would like to have a minimum of 3-6 months to book a wedding cake, although we understand this is not always feasible. On occasion last minute orders may be accommodated, so please do ask.

Please provide as much information as possible in your enquiry, such as the style of cake you are wanting to have and the venue’s address if you require delivery.

Consultations

We will discuss with you which designs will best suit your wedding style & venue.

Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment we require at least 48 hours notice so as we can book in other clients if needed.

Payment Process

To secure your booking, we require a 50% deposit for all orders. The remaining balance must be paid at least two weeks before the event. Instalments are also welcome to help ease the financial strain.

Delivery & Collection

Delivery / Pickup charges are quoted individually. We will arrange a time with your venue’s event coordinator to ensure we can deliver and set-up your cake in its final display position. We prefer to deliver wedding cakes due to their structural complexity and set-up at your venue. We will also collect the cake from the venue after the reception has been held.

Cakes of Distinction does not accept any responsibility once the cake has been set up at the venue. A photo will be taken once it has been set up then when it is being collected if any damage is evident.

Each display wedding cake hired will include the cost of delivery & setup and pickup after the wedding reception.

By paying a deposit you have agreed to all Terms.

Please fill in our contact form below and we will respond as soon as possible.

Remember, that we will also deliver / pick-up anywhere throughout Melbourne or you may arrange to collect & return the display cake to save on the cost.
